Data Visualization

In this assignment, the goal was to create a website that would interpret a set of data visually. I had the data be interpreted as different flavors and toppings for ice cream cones. For example, the color hex code in the data set would be the color of the corresponding ice creams, and the number in field 2 determines whether the ice cream has a cherry on top or not.

Data field #1 = text input  = becomes a name next to the ice cream (could not get this to work)

Data field #2 = integer between 100-999 = if number is 500 or less, ice cream gets a cherry on top

Data field #3 – Floating point number between 0.0 and 9.99 = if number is 5 or greater, ice cream gets a dollop of whipped cream on top

Data field #4 – Color value in hexadecimal = color of ice cream flavor

Data field #5 – lower-case letter: a, b, c, or d =  a—rainbow sprinkles; b—nuts; c—chocolate sprinkles; d—none

Data field #6 – 1 or 0 – if number is 1, a stick of chocolate is in the ice cream
